2020 Ginetta Junior G40 Test

On 18th February 2020, Alisha had her first test in a race car - a Ginetta G40 Junior. During this she demonstrated an amazing natural ability and was able to exceed all expectations.

Her coach for the day, Charlie Robertson (Ginetta Works Driver, Le Mans 24 Hr Racer & former European Le Mans Series Champion), commented "We set a target lap for the day and she smashed it on her third lap! I was very impressed by her adaptability in the car and she's doing all the right things already. She's the fastest junior I have have ever seen on day one in the car!"

As Alisha is still only 13 years old, she is not eligible to compete in the Ginetta Junior Championship or indeed in any other junior car series until she is 14 years old and so the target now is to progress with further testing during 2020 alongside her kart racing in the Daniel Ricciardo Series UK, with a view of transitioning into the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2021 / 2022.

In order to support this transition into cars, AP Racing need to secure the required funding and support and so are embarking on an active commercial partnership campaign. As such, if anyone is interested in becoming a partner we would absolutely welcome the opportunity to present our business proposal to any such parties in order to demonstrate the genuine mutual benefits on offer.

Alisha's test in the Ginetta also received some notable media attention, where her performance and efforts were recognised.

A review of the test day can be found here.
